Power of Pranayama

Experience the power of breathing techniques to unleash complete health and well-being!

Power of Pranayama

Pranayamas or directing breath in different ways is considered an external cleansing method that removes toxins through the breath. There are different types of pranayamas, which play an integral part in opening up the life force channels of the body. By channelizing the life force energy in a specific pattern, one can get rid of toxins to experience immense healing results.

The science behind Pranayama is backed up with immense research that shows solid benefits to the body and the mind. The yogis decipher the term Pranayama into ‘Prana’ meaning the vital life force and ‘ayama’ meaning to extend or control. By controlling or extending the life force, one can get immeasurable health benefits. Pranayama affects all systems of the body including the Autonomous nervous system responsible to heal various psycho physiological disorders caused due to stress.

At Bodhi Yoga Academy, we have designed wonderful workshops that teach various ancient breathing techniques to ensure that students are not just physically fit but mentally strong as well. The idea is to make people understand the importance of Pranayamas. We teach many pranayamas including Ujjayi, Bhastrika, Nadi Shodhan and more. These techniques help win over one’s chattering mind to give a relaxed yet aware state of mind.
